One more β-eye, the first in Scandinavia was successfully installed this week at Uppsala University. We enjoyed being at the Science for Life Laboratory at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, performing the first preclinical PET studies with F-18 and Ga-68 and demonstrating how BIOEMTECH technology makes molecular imaging part of the daily work in a radiopharmaceutical laboratory. We would like to thank the wonderful team of the Translational PET Imaging and Prof. Olof Eriksson, as well as Dr. Sergio Estrada and Dr. Ram Kumar Selvaraju from the Preclinical PET-MRI Platform, for the enlightening discussions and their warm hospitality. We look forward to the upcoming studies using Zr-89, C-11 and I-124 and getting valuable feedback for further improvement of our “eyes“.
