On October 18, during EANM 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting our BIOEMTECH User Meeting at the Haus der Musik in Vienna.
The event brought together researchers, collaborators and users of our imaging systems for an evening dedicated to scientific exchange, practical experiences and new applications in preclinical molecular imaging.
The scientific programme featured presentations from Jorge Ignacio Rodríguez Céspedes (CIC biomaGUNE) and Ivo Rausch and Theresa Balber (Medical University of Vienna), who shared their research and experiences using our imaging technologies. From comparative studies involving ¹⁷⁷Lu, ¹⁶¹Tb and ²²⁵Ac to the performance and applications of our β-eye™ PET system in in vivo and in ovo imaging, the presentations highlighted different ways our technologies are being applied to address scientific questions.
The programme also included a presentation from the BIOEMTECH team on integrating the eyes™ imaging systems into preclinical CRO workflows, demonstrating how imaging can contribute to different stages of radiopharmaceutical research and development.
Beyond the presentations, the evening provided an opportunity for open discussions, feedback and the exchange of ideas between users and our team. Following the scientific programme, participants enjoyed a reception at the museum’s rooftop venue and a guided tour of the Haus der Musik, continuing the conversations in a more relaxed setting.
We would like to warmly thank our speakers and everyone who joined us in Vienna for sharing their knowledge, experiences and enthusiasm. It is always a pleasure to bring our users together, learn from their work and strengthen the connections that help our community grow.
We look forward to welcoming everyone again at our next User Meeting!
