On May 29-30, we had the pleasure of hosting in Athens the meeting of the COST Action IMPROVE – 3Rs concepts to improve the quality of biomedical science (CA21139).
The first day began with presentations from our BIOEMTECH team, introducing:
• the scientific and technological scope of our work.
• the fundamentals of radiopharmaceuticals in preclinical research.
• how a CRO can implement the 3Rs principles (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) not just in theory, but in practice as well.
From our imaging systems which allow short scanning times that reduce animal stress and replace invasive methods, to our CRO team, which ensures ethical excellence at every stage, the 3Rs are at the heart of our operations.
After the talks, participants toured our headquarters and labs, for a hands-on look at how we bring innovation and responsibility together.
We are proud to be part of this European effort to rethink how biomedical research is conducted, playing our part in shaping a more refined and humane scientific future.
