It is nice to see the paper “A Generalization of the Maximum Likelihood Expectation Maximization (MLEM) Method: Masked-MLEM”, by Yifan Zheng, Emily Frame, Javier Caravaca, Grant T. Gullberg, Kai Vetter, and Youngho Seo published. The groups of University of California, Berkley and University of California, San Francisco extend the limits of imaging Ac-225, using both collimator and uncollimated SPECT imaging. Our fillable mouse phantom provided the ground truth for these demanding tests. You can read the paper here: https://lnkd.in/gDpKyrs4
