Stem Cell therapy monitoring on our eyes!

This week in BIOEMTECH Laboratories, we performed gold nanoparticle-labelled stem cells imaging in a mouse injury model, with our γ-eye system. NPs were labelled with In-111, then uptaken by stem cells and injected in the injury point. Images at several time points up to 24 hrs indicate a steady cell signal at the injury site with minimum uptake in other organs, predicting a successful stem cell therapy scheme!
